Job Summary

5ithz is seeking a Senior Industrial Designer to lead product aesthetics, ergonomics, and physical
design across multiple hardware projects. This role blends creativity with technical knowledge,
pushing the boundaries of product form, usability, and visual identity.

Key Responsibilities
‍

• Own the design vision and execution for next-generation consumer tech products

• Translate user needs and brand direction into innovative product concepts

• Develop sketches, renderings, and 3D models for design reviews and prototyping

• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and UX teams to ensure feasibility and alignment

• Guide CMF (color, material, finish) strategy and work closely with manufacturing
partners

• Participate in user research and testing to refine ergonomics and interaction

• Present concepts to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback

• Stay informed on design trends, materials, and new technologies

Qualifications
‍

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design or related field preferred

• 5+ years of experience designing physical products, ideally in consumer electronics

• Exceptional sketching, rendering, and 3D modeling abilities (KeyShot, Rhino, Fusion
360, etc.)

• Strong portfolio demonstrating design process, creativity, and execution

• Deep understanding of human factors, CMF, and manufacturing constraints

• Proven ability to balance form and function in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills

• Experience bringing products from concept to production is a strong plus
